Karak

Karak is a universal restaking network that supports 20+ collateral asset types across Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin. The protocol's Distributed Secure Services (DSS) framework lets any protocol source cryptoeconomic security from the Karak collateral pool.

The K2 chain, launched in 2025, is the first restaking-secured universal risk-management layer — a design that lets networks price and hedge slashing risk as a first-class primitive.

Karak's cross-chain design has attracted networks that need security across multiple ecosystems simultaneously, a use case that neither EigenLayer nor Symbiotic addresses directly.
